Operations Director

After leaving University in 1994 I joined Shell UK but quickly realised I wanted to be take control of my own destiny so within 6 months I became the youngest petrol station franchisee within the Shell network. Between 1994 and 2006 I operated numerous petrol stations throughout Yorkshire and the North East including Leeds, Tynemouth, Redcar, Billingham, Guisborough, and Middlesbrough. In 2000 I bought a Costcutter Supermarket in York. 

In 2002 I co-founded Recruit4health which supplies locum doctors and medical staff to the NHS. In 2005 I co-founded Recruit4vets which supplies locum and permanent vets and veterinary nurses to practices throughout the UK, New Zealand and Australia. In 2018 I co-founded Se4rch a specialist search and selection / headhunting agency, focusing solely on specialist and referral vet's.

The Recruit4 businesses were born out of an initial need 'to do' recruitment properly and to give our customers the best possible experience.

Our mission is to always work proactively and professionally whilst making the whole recruitment process as simple as possible for everyone.

As a company, we strive to be transparent, knowledgeable and innovative. We want to shake up the industry status quo and positively change the way that people perceive recruitment.
