We are currently recruiting on behalf of a long-established small animal practice based in Skipton, North Yorkshire, for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This is a hands-on nursing role on a permanent full-time basis.
The Practice:
This is a long-established small animal practice that are very proud to have been providing veterinary care since 1930s and has very strong links with the surrounding community. A wonderful, hardworking team of 8 Vets, 9 RVNs, 8 Client Care team, 1 Head Nurse and 1 Practice Manager that provide the highest level of care around the clock. A group of 3 well-established sites that offer first opinion care alongside orthopaedics, cardiology and soft tissue surgery services. The main practice is an RCVS accredited Hospital and also has two light and spacious branch surgeries. Also offer ample Nurse Clinics for Senior Pets, Puppy/kittens/rabbit and also weight, post-op and dental clinics.

The Role and Candidate:
They are currently looking for an RVN to join the nursing team on a full-time basis. The team is based in a well-equipped, purpose-built surgery with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, ECG & flexible endoscopy and ultrasound with colour flow Doppler.
The position would involve a hands-on nursing role working 39 hours per week. The rotas work on an 8-week basis; there would be just 7-night shifts in 8 weeks which would include a weekend day shifts and weekend night shifts (totalling just 2 ½ weekends in 8). Day off before and after night shifts, which gives you a great work/life balance.
